Most Common Symptoms of Female Infertility

When you look back into the old history of medication, you come to know that the doctors at that time were usually without some specialized degrees but on the basis of their experience and their knowledge, they could predict the diseases of the patients just by watching their gait and observing their heartbeats. But do you know what was the actual thing that helped them to do so? The answer is a common term of medical sciences, “symptoms”.

During today’s era, the presence of advanced technologies has made life easier than in the early ages. The advanced testing system can easily check the disease which you are suffering from. However, some tests are quite expensive and only performed when asked by the doctor. Doctors ask for them only when they feel the symptoms of that disease in your body. So basically diseases are still diagnosed on the basis of their symptoms and tests are performed to confirm their presence.

About 15 percent of couples are suffering from infertility issues. They opted to take advanced treatments including IUI and IVF treatment in Lahore to cure their fertility. High-level testing is done before the treatment to confirm infertility and the reasons behind it. But like other disorders, it can also be observed by its symptoms, especially in women.

There are certain symptoms of female infertility that can reflect the situation and help you to decide about the testing and treatment. Some of the most common symptoms of female infertility are given below.

Failed to Get Pregnant

The clearest symptom of infertility is failing to get pregnant. If you are under the fertility age which usually ranges between 40 to 45 years but failed to conceive a baby even after continuous and unprotected intercourse, then it is a symptom of infertility. The age factor might be less or more depending upon the mental and physical health conditions.

You cannot say that you are infertile after one or two months of unprotected intercourse. It is usually referred to as the condition when you failed to conceive after continuous intercourse for more than one year. So you should look for a proper check-up and have a treatment if you are having this issue.

Pain During Intercourse

The pain usually happens during or after the intercourse but it never means that you consider it a part of a normal routine. A little soreness in the vaginal tract is a normal thing and you don’t need to worry about it. But if the pain is severe then you need to contact your doctor. Pain is not directly linked to infertility. But the reasons behind this pain are actually the reason behind infertility.

For example, the pain in the vagina is due to some infection, swelling of tubules, or sexually transmitted diseases. All these reasons can also cause infertility.

Change in Physical Appearance of the Body

It is the rarest symptom of infertility. It is not rare depending upon its happening, it is due to the knowledge of people about it. Most of you might also be shocked too to hear that weight gain is a symptom of female infertility. But this does not mean that every fat person is infertile. The obesity or weight gain described here is unknown and unexplained.

For example, if you are living according to your normal routine and there is no change in your diet or exercise routine and you suddenly start gaining weight then it is a thing to be concerned about. Similarly, if you start experiencing a change in your skin tone or acne then it also means that there is a great hormonal disturbance in the body which can lead to infertility.

Hair growth can also represent infertility. If you feel your hair start falling at a quicker pace without any reason, then it is a symptom of infertility. Similarly, the sudden growth of hair on all the body parts is also a representation of hormonal imbalance and a reason behind infertility.

Takeaway

If you are experiencing these symptoms, then you should take proper treatment. Both female and male infertility treatment is the most preferred choice for the couples as sometimes your partner or both of you could be infertile.
